On January 19, 2006 - NASA has launched an interplanetary mission called New Horizon (NH). NH's missions were primarily set to observe the Sun's 9th Planet - Pluto and its twin binary, Charon and their moons, Nix and Hydra. But since the IAU majority vote to demote the system into a "Dwarf Planet" classification in August 2006, even most of the mission control people felt the mission has been degraded - NH is still on its way.
